Large-scale Moscow's Assaults Eliminate Power In Kyiv

Power facilities under attack in Ukraine
Ukraine's power facilities have faced escalating strikes in the past few days

Overnight, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to blackouts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were wounded while inhabitants in the city's east were experienced blackouts and faced problems to water systems, as stated by municipal leaders.

Simultaneously, a minor was killed in a different aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southern area, as reported by regional authorities.

Moscow has escalated assaults on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while the country's government has requested "substantial measures" from international partners to increase pressure on Russia.

"The necessity is not window dressing but strong steps - from the America, the EU and the Group of Seven - in supplying protection systems and implementing restrictions," was stated in a online statement.

Officials stated that 450 drones and several dozen missiles targeted the country's power systems, describing such assaults as "strategic and deliberate" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

The energy minister said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were striving to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles hit energy infrastructure and apartment buildings in Kyiv.

Multiple people injured in the assaults on the city have been taken to hospital, as confirmed by local officials.

Local officials said the city endured significant strikes overnight. A seven-year-old child was killed and three other people were injured.

The assaults succeed nights of bombing campaigns in the territory, portions of which are currently controlled by Russian forces.

The whole nation is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are harder to detect.

Government officials told reporters that Moscow was purposely seeking to destroy the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already disrupting energy systems.

Officials stated utility staff and officials were preparing for additional strikes.
